TVEG has been working with Keep Wales Tidy to improve thelocal environment. KWT have given us a grant to purchase 10 litter picking kits so that we can look after the areas of the town that are not covered by Brian’s hard work, particularly along the riverbank. (These kits are available for other local groups to borrow as well).
We also hope to use the remaining grant to purchase and plant trees around the town on small pieces of neglected ground – watch out for details in the autumn.
If you can spare an hour or so come and join us for an afternoon – it is amazing how much difference we can make to an area in just an hour or so!
